Baldwin is situated in St. Croix County, WI.  Located in the northwestern part of the state, we are 20 miles from the St. Croix River and 45 minutes from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

As of the census of 2010, there were 3.960 people, 1,724 households, and 703 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,720.4 people per square mile.  There were 1,724 housing units at an average density of 820.9 per square mile. The racial makeup of the village was 96.03% White, 0.8% Black or African American, 0.37% Native American, 0.55% Asian, 0.6% from other races, and 1.5% from two or more races. 1.5% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 1,115 households out of which 31.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.4% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.9% were non-families. 30.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.33 and the average family size was 2.92.

As of the census of 2000, the village population was spread out with 24.1% under the age of 18, 10.0% from 18 to 24, 29.0% from 25 to 44, 18.0% from 45 to 64, and 18.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years.

The median income for a household in the village was $40,313, and the median income for a family was $51,250. Males had a median income of $37,216 versus $26,250 for females. The per capita income for the village was $20,748. About 3.0% of families and 5.5% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.0% of those under age 18 and 5.6% of those age 65 or over.
