Tree removal within the Village now occuring

The Village of Baldwin has hired Ackley Tree Service to assist with removal of boulevard ash trees affected by emerald ash borer.  The Village Public Works will replant new species of trees where feasible after tree stumps have been ground and removed this spring/summer.  The species of Trees selected for replanting are the following: ELM: Accolade, St Croix, Princeton, HONEYLOCUST: Northern Acclaim, MAPLE: Sienna Glen, Northwoods, OAK: Northern Red, Swamp White, BUCKEYE: Autumn Splendor, COFFEE TREE: Espresso, NORTHERN CATALPA,  HACKBERRY.       Please reach out to the Village of Baldwin Public Works with questions or concerns at 715-684-2535.
