Boards

The purpose of the Board of Review is to hear and rule on property tax assessment appeals.  If you feel the assessment on your real property or personal property is inaccurate, you are encouraged to contact the village assessor to discuss your concerns.  You have the right to meet with the Board of Review to discuss further.  Please review the document "Board of Review Appeals Process" below before filling out the appeals form.  If you have questions, please contact the village assessor or the village administrator/clerk-treasurer. 

The Joint Board of Review is comprised of representatives from each taxing jurisdiction for the Village of Baldwin. 

Members of the Joint Board of Review include a representative from St. Croix County, Northwoods Technical College, Baldwin-Woodville School District, Village of Baldwin Board of Trustees and one citizen member. 

The Library Board is composed of five citizen members appointed annually by the Village Board of Trustees.  They hold monthly meetings and are responsible for overseeing the general operations and staff of the library.    The Library Board meets the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:00pm in the Library.    2023 Members

United Fire and Rescue, Baldwin Station Board is composed of local community members and a member of each community the station serves.  The Village Board appoints one member and an alternate annually.  Meetings are held on a monthly basis.

The Zoning Board of Appeals has five appointed citizen members and two alternates. They meet as requested.  

Terms are served for three years as appointed by the Village Board.
